If leather jackets and nightlight colours rock your boat, you’re bound to fall in love with this latest fashion film by Nick Knight from SHOWstudio, which depicts the on-set mood during the ‘Mean Streets’ editorial shoot for British Vogue.
Donned in edgy, metallic pieces from the likes of Givenchy, Chanel and Miu Miu, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls set out to conquer and run the world whilst channeling a devil-may-care attitude.
Throw in edgy music, this fashion film certainly elevates the notion of rockability to it’s greatest height. Clearly a genius one from maestro Nick Knight!

Collaboration between labels & labels, and celebrity & labels/brands seems to be all the rage. From the highly successful & anticipated tie-up between Christopher Kane x Topshop back in 2009, which had jaw-opening crocodiles as the central icon to the fast-selling Lanvin x H&M collection where dresses with oversized structured ruffles graced the hangers of the high-street store, collaborations have always been successful and a stepping stone to publicity for both parties.
While words that the Versace x H&M collection will be in the upcoming H&M Singapore store (set to open on 3rd September 2011) is one that will make our hearts flutter, we are also aware that Rodarte (Kate and Laura Mulleavy), whose costumes graced the silver screen in the film Black Swan as well as their notable and groundbreaking designs including the skeletal dress and many other elegant and innovative dresses, has collaborated with retailer Opening Ceremony in a fall collection for the 2nd time! (the first being the spring.summer 2011 collection)
With the signature Rodarte touch in it, the collection is a spellbinding effect of Scandinavian romanticism and Edwardian meets Lolita style with lush usage of ruffles, silky silhouettes, and pastel hues.
Once again, COCO does it, and it’s undoubtly incredible and mindblowing (then again, which one of Coco Rocha’s shoot doesn’t?)
She practically rocked and gets in the mood with the fall.winter 2011 collections from fashion powerhouses Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Chloe, Gucci & many more in an energetic, fun-filled fashion editorial spread for ELLE UK, and photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath.

Holy Macaroni, I’m in love with the direction and pieces in Grey S/S ( shot by Catherine Servel). It’s just freaking mind-blowing.
Especially loving Stella McCartney’s clothes for this season. It’s just plain amazing.
Solve Sundsbo does a bloody fantastic photoshoot once again with Emily DiDonato in Numero #117 Oct 2010. The whole water setting plus metallic is just mindblowing!
Speaking for photoshoots, Upfront models just sent their comcards to the office. Pretty hyped up for the next photoshoot now!
